4/20/09 First off, if you are new to Meerkat Manor, you need to post in the Meerkat and Member Sweep so you won't be deleted. Second, I know that the boards are a little messy, and that will be fixed. From April 24, 2009 - April 26, 2009, the site will be under matinence mode! By the time we re-open it back up, we will have a new Meerkat Manor! So, if there is anything new you want to see, post it in the Suggestions thread so we may be able to get it on here before we go into matinence mode.

04/11/09 We are seeing more new and old faces again at Meerkat Manor! Great! Also, if you have any suggestions for MM (Something you want to see on here.), I've started a suggestions thread in the Member Board. We will also try and bring back Meerkat Mansion, a spin off of Meerkat Manor, but Meerkat Mansion is about the true events going on in the Meerkat Manor RPG boards. We will be holding auditions soon for the writers! Check back here soon for more information!

Fall
Fall has finally reared its head on the Kalahari. Days are slowly getting colder as nights become close to unbearable. While pups are still being born, it would be best to hurry up and finish starting your families before the worst of the weather sets in. After all, winter is practically at the entrance to our burrows.

Sometimes, you just get tired of role-playing a certain character. If that happens, you can kill it, or you can put it up for adoption, and another member will hopefully come and adopt it.
Chaos brims over Kalahari's cups. Along with it comes love, hate, vengence, and infedelity. These meerkats pack a punch in this series. Find out who take over, what the evil group will do to other meerkats.
*Based on the true happenings of the Meerkat Manor Role-Playing game.*
Deep up North is where the Toswanga Tribe of Meerkats live. Dominant Male is Foxfire, and the Dominate Female is Audeline. The other residents are currently the Three pups Rochell , Masika, Youssarion and the follower(s) Lencho. Land is 3 acres.
The Nightwish clan borders the Toswanga tribe. The Dominate Male is Beowulf and the Dominate female is Kake. Followers are Cake, Xandu, Debbie, Amani and Kake and Beowulf's two pups, Calona and Amiria. Land is 4 1/2 acres.
Being the peace keepers of the Kalahari is not an easy job. If you join here, you'll have a big responsibilty. Can you handle the challange? The dominants are Riff Raff and Magenta. Land size is 5 acres.
This land is filled with scrub land as far as the eye can see. There are three little ponds when the rainy seasons hit, a large river that winds threw the territory, two big major sand dunes, and several large major foraging areas. This land is usually full of food. It's just hard to find it. The land is slightly over run and wildebeest that run threw it occasionally. The only big down side to this area, is that there is a small pride of lions in this area.
This is an abandoned water trough where farmers would quench the thirst of their cattle. It's no longer used or works but it collects rain so it's never a Meerkats antics to pass up an oppurtunity to drink water. Ever heard of the saying curiousity killed the cat? Yeah well, i'd be careful if i were you....
There's at east a third of a mile here of grasslands not to big or small to be considered territory. Travelers can find an abundant supply of Centipedes, Ants, and Grubs, but sorry very little Scorpians are crawlign about: there are no trees for shade out here.
This is by far the most amazing tree in the Kalahari, and in the right conditions it can grow up to ten meters. It seems in the case of this tree, the spot here is the right condition for the tree is nine and a half meters ,and almost a hundred forty years old. This is the place to nap during the hottest time in the day, burrows have placed them selves about here too, but careful you just might find the burrow un-vacant.
If you didn’t know any better you could easily confuse this land as an innocent, barren terra. But if you’re unfortunate enough to wander into the trap your life will surely be claimed. So as you pad on through you have to wonder what is so dangerous here. well that’s easy…Sinking Sand.
This is the place of crumbling boulders, and huge dips that you can fall in if not careful. There are tons of lose rocks that can come tumbling down ,and when your a twelve inch tall Meerkat...you better run.
This is the Zulu Clan. Residents are Shakespeare, Nayalasha, Mi Julie, Wildfire, Milly. Dominant Male is Shakespeare. The Dominant Female is Neko. Offspring,Zaphus, Tala, Sydney, Youssie, Terk, Marrabele.The land size is 6 acres.
Dominant Elihu and Mist rule these grounds. The fierce warriors that have nice hearts. They protect and fend for each other in this harsh climate. The scrub land can be a little too overbearing in the rainy seasons and then it can get to just mostly desert in the dry seasons.
This is where the mob Starstrippers habitate. The land belongs to Myuki, Bella, and their mob. Their land is not big, nor small. Something inbetween it. But the mob will have more than enough room for their housings. There are some trees here, and many bushes. The many bolt-holes around the territory are signalling that a big mob is living here. The Starstrippers are friendly, dominate female Bella is always kind to anyone, and her mate Myuki is willing to accept anyone who's nice.
Welcome to your nightmares. This is where Hime and Hikaru currently rule with a bloodthirsty iron paw. Their followers currently still breathing are: Diablo, Nero, Akin, and Hari. If you think you are the right material then join… But only if you think you have the right material… All females will be killed on the spot. 100+ words (at least try) No chat speak, no autohitting/Ect. Evilness and activity required upon entrance. Land size is Three acres.
The sky bleeds here. Welcome to the Demonic Aura. This is where evil reigns. Ruled by Ashi. Followers so far are Liefde, Iliana, Korosa Kitsuta, Ashby, and Ansatsusha. Offspring are Yuuto, Kirai, Tensei, Akuma, Kotori, and Choukichi. Borders with StarStrippers clan and Camazi: worthy opponents. To join this clan: post in outskirts. Must be at least 300 words long and must be accepted by Dominate (Ashi).This gang is for Literate RolePlayers only. Land Size is 6 acres.
Welcome to the Camazi Clan, lead by Dominant's Thesus and Debbie. With followers Tamia, Shadow, Romeo, Coconut, Malika and Tosca. Pups,Alura,Todd,Jade,Belleza,Ella, Lensi, and Jogu. Bordering with Demonic Aura, there in for some serious competition.Land size is 8 acres.
