as of today, all accounts with five posts and under will be deleted at the end of every week on sunday.

11/4/09 First, there have been a lot of changes! We staff know that school and extra curriculum's and such are taking up a lot of people's time, and we appreciate you taking the time to keep returning to this site!
There are have been some changes, and I hope that there are many more to come!

7/20/09 Okai! So, by random conversation, there is a new game on Meerkat Manor! It's called The Insomniac, and the point is to stay up as late as possible. The winner gets the title of Insomniac for a week, and $250. (in game currencey, btw) Rules will be posted in the member lounge!

7/14/09 There are going to be some changes made on MM! We will be deleting more inactive members, inactive clans and boards, and the really old posts. The side table will have a whole new look, and the boards may even look a bit foreign to you. We won't be going into maintenance-mode this time, but we do ask that you are patient with the staff until all these changes are complete. Things will be a little hard to find at first, but no worries; you'll find it! Please check the archives for a post before you ask a staff member about it!

4/20/09 First off, if you are new to Meerkat Manor, you need to post in the Meerkat and Member Sweep so you won't be deleted. Second, I know that the boards are a little messy, and that will be fixed. From April 24, 2009 - April 26, 2009, the site will be under matinence mode! By the time we re-open it back up, we will have a new Meerkat Manor! So, if there is anything new you want to see, post it in the Suggestions thread so we may be able to get it on here before we go into matinence mode.

04/11/09 We are seeing more new and old faces again at Meerkat Manor! Great! Also, if you have any suggestions for MM (Something you want to see on here.), I've started a suggestions thread in the Member Board. We will also try and bring back Meerkat Mansion, a spin off of Meerkat Manor, but Meerkat Mansion is about the true events going on in the Meerkat Manor RPG boards. We will be holding auditions soon for the writers! Check back here soon for more information!

Winter is closing in on the Kalahari - while the days aren't too unbearable, nights have hit deadly temperatures. It's recommended that all kats make sure they're in a shelter before night falls.

Rokotan looked around at the other members of the mob he now called home as they foraged, his belly already contently full. The day, unfortunatly, was peaceful, not predators or romancing rovers in sight. Rokotan sniffed irritably, wishing he could run off some sorry rover. And they could probably skip any carnivour.
Diva was also foraging nearby, showing signs of pregnancy. Rokotan had observed rather quickly that Devastation hadn't been even slightly happy about this or shown any real acknowledgement of Rokotan other than when he felt her eyes glaring at him. With a shudder, he was reminded of when Tiktik was pregnant. His old mate would stare at him in his sleep, debating whether or not to kill him for the crime he had forced on her.
In order to impress his new mate, Rokotan tried several things that may have pleased her: scared of rovers, cleaned the burrows, sentry, everything. But the fae just stuck up her nose and acted as if he were nothing more than her subordinate. Come to think of it, he probably was.

How could she help but not hate the male, another male that came and impregnated her. There was a few differences this time around, Todd wasn't the potential male that got ahold of her this time so it was a complete and utter differance she'd hate to admit it but she missed him. Dispite turning down the offer to mate with him she still got evicted for flirting with Aleck, so if Rokotan thought she was a handful now wait until spring when she didn't have little leeches she'd be out partying with rovers how could she help it she was Partygirl after all boys were bound to be attracted to her and her daughters. Rokotan went about trying to impress her she couldn't help but think 'Isn't that supposed to happen before im pregnant?' she shook her head with loud growls went back to digging her hole for food for the growing whelps inside her. Speaking of which she felt much larger this time around it made her feel akward.

Seeing the wonderful mood Diva was in at the moment, Rokotan couldn't help but feel guilty. What an odd pair they were, a powerful fae who had some bloodlust currently paired with the noble kat who easily felt guilt. Rokotan currently kept his distance, unsure what to do at the moment.

It was quite the disappointment to learn he had no taste for killing or for the metalic tangy taste of blood perhaps she should have taken Ashi's offer and became one of his little bitches for awhile just to get what she wanted and be a good little actor then split like the Diva she is ah how that would have been fitting but the look on Myuki's face was worth ten dollars, the look on Raven's face twenty dollars, the look on Ashi's face priceless. Now, how many girls get to say they turned him down much less treat him like the trash he was and get away with it alive perhaps she was too hot for the fury coated male to handle, oh well his loss someone elses gain, asset, and allie.
