as of today, all accounts with five posts and under will be deleted at the end of every week on sunday.
basically, just hurry up and get your first five posts right after you join. that is all!

11/4/09 First, there have been a lot of changes! We staff know that school and extra curriculum's and such are taking up a lot of people's time, and we appreciate you taking the time to keep returning to this site!
There are have been some changes, and I hope that there are many more to come!

7/20/09 Okai! So, by random conversation, there is a new game on Meerkat Manor! It's called The Insomniac, and the point is to stay up as late as possible. The winner gets the title of Insomniac for a week, and $250. (in game currencey, btw) Rules will be posted in the member lounge!

7/14/09 There are going to be some changes made on MM! We will be deleting more inactive members, inactive clans and boards, and the really old posts. The side table will have a whole new look, and the boards may even look a bit foreign to you. We won't be going into maintenance-mode this time, but we do ask that you are patient with the staff until all these changes are complete. Things will be a little hard to find at first, but no worries; you'll find it! Please check the archives for a post before you ask a staff member about it!

5/3/09 Well, the advertsing contest is coming to an end, and you only have 17 more days to claim that you are here. Other wise you WILL be deleted. No questions asked. Now, the {rules} are always changing, so I want everyone to go re-read them. We are adding new stuff constantly, so if there is something you want to see, post in the Suggestions board!

4/20/09 First off, if you are new to Meerkat Manor, you need to post in the Meerkat and Member Sweep so you won't be deleted. Second, I know that the boards are a little messy, and that will be fixed. From April 24, 2009 - April 26, 2009, the site will be under matinence mode! By the time we re-open it back up, we will have a new Meerkat Manor! So, if there is anything new you want to see, post it in the Suggestions thread so we may be able to get it on here before we go into matinence mode.

04/11/09 We are seeing more new and old faces again at Meerkat Manor! Great! Also, if you have any suggestions for MM (Something you want to see on here.), I've started a suggestions thread in the Member Board. We will also try and bring back Meerkat Mansion, a spin off of Meerkat Manor, but Meerkat Mansion is about the true events going on in the Meerkat Manor RPG boards. We will be holding auditions soon for the writers! Check back here soon for more information!

Late Fall
Winter is closing in on the Kalahari - while the days aren't too unbearable, nights have hit deadly temperatures. It's recommended that all kats make sure they're in a shelter before night falls.

Eagerly glancing across the tan landscape surrounding her, Koko's light brown orbs reflected the bright Kalahari sun shining overhead flickered side to side. The newcomer was hoping to find another meer nearby, someone to catch up news wise in the area or flirt with, what else was there for a bored loner to do? She slipped casually from her sheltering bush into the open as she caught sight of a water through which would be a lovely place to perch from.
But as she leaped onto the side she decided to take a quick sip of cooling water and watch her reflection ripple over disturbed water before rising onto her hind legs and letting out a few calls, welcoming any friend or foe. Yes foe. Even if she got into a fight it would be something to do. She slumped back onto all four pads as she sat on the side of the water through, sniffing the air vaguely as she listened for the scamper of paws or a returned greeting.

Koko seized her oppurtunity, a flirtatious grin plastered on her face and light bright profiles shining with exitement. "I'm fine, handsome," she purred, realizing this was a rover. Koko had always wanted to be a mother but lost her first litter. A rover could give her what she wanted ...
"I'm Koko, and you are?"
she chirped in a high pitch voice, a smile still pulling up the corners of her maw.

Rexx smiled this Koko obviously wanted to be a mother and this would be possibly a third litter that he could later use to his plan and he answered "i'm Rexx, what's a cutie like you doing all the way out here?"

Rexx moved closer and started to groom Koko she seemed very intermate and Rexx didn't want to miss a chance to mate but he didn't want to force it and decided to let her make a move back to make sure that it was what she wanted

As soon as Rexx started to groom her pelt she did the same, moving her teeth through his fur. This was obviously a kat who didn't hesitate, that was good.

Rexx pressed on starting to be more passionate and lustful now he continued to groom her waiting for her to do anything back he really liked this fae her scent, her looks

Rexx was turning her on, her exitement growing and starting to feel more lustful by the second. She groomed through his pelt with more enthusiasm than before, her smile still firmly in place.

Koko was purring in delight, remembering this feeling from once before. Her eyes rolled back slightly and she decided not to wait any longer. They had maybe said ten words to one another, spend maybe a minute grooming, and Koko didn't care. She laid down in the warm sand with exitement burning her viens. She was ready, she didn't want to waste another moment. "Don't bother with the 'are you sure' nonsence," she told him. She way laying down was she not? Why would she needed to think again?
